Our Mission
Winthrop High School is dedicated to each member of its student body the opportunity to achieve academic excellence in a safe environment. We believe that all students possess the capacity to learn; and that each student is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs. We actively engage our students in developing their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. By encouraging our students to become confident, self-directed life-long learners, we seek to connect their personal growth to academic excellence. We seek to foster a climate of shared responsibility among students, faculty, administration, parents, and the community-at-large..

Beginning now until 4PM on Dec 3 parents will have the ability to schedule 5 minute Open House Night appointments with their children’s teachers. This is the same format that was used last year!

This year Student Council students will be providing free daycare services for your children in the cafeteria from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.  Children must be potty trained and parents will be required to provide identification in order to sign their children in and out of the cafeteria.  Please reserve your spot on winthrophs.schoolappointments.com.  Under  “Book appointments” choose ***DayCare Services***.

Please email me if you are having difficulty with the process or if you do not have access to a computer.  We look forward to seeing you on December 3rd.
